Less “smile at the camera,” more “holy sh*t, this is our life.”

Ohio wedding Photographer

Hi, I'm Alaynna

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Cincinnati, Ohio documenting people exactly as they are, not who they think they’re supposed to be.
Somewhere along the way, this stopped being “taking photos” and started being… noticing. The way people look at each other when they think no one’s paying attention. The quiet, the chaos, the in-between moments that don’t get staged or repeated. That’s the part I’m obsessed with. I connect hard with my people, like, actually care about you as a human, not just a timeline and a shot list. Because the truth is, the best photos don’t come from perfect posing. They come from trust. From feeling safe enough to just be yourself.
I’m not here to make your day look perfect. I’m here to make sure it feels like you when you look back on it. Messy, emotional, joyful, a little unhinged sometimes. All of it matters.
And yeah… we’re probably going to have a really good time while we’re at it.

your comfort
is my priority

Believe it or not, I actually hate having my photo taken. So, I am super empathetic to those who feel nervous in front of a camera. I want everyone around me (especially in front of my camera) to feel comfortable, and I've built my process around this. That's why I always start with a 'get to know you' video call, (or if we're close enough, we'll meet up for drinks!), as we should all feel happy and comfortable together. More like a friendship than a vendor/client relationship.
Your wedding is an adventure full of emotions, trust, intimacy and lightness. On your big day, you should let your feelings guide you, trust the people around you completely, let your intimacy run free and feel completely at ease at all times.
I don't just want to be at your side as a service provider, but as a friend you can trust, with whom you can let yourself go and, above all, who you would like to have by your side on the most beautiful day of your life.
Let's rock this adventure together.

HOW I WORK
+ WHY IT MATTERs
I keep it true.
I don't cut corners on gear, backups, or how I handle your images. I protect your photos, preserve your colors, and keep the edits honest. I make every decision with one goal: images that still feel like you years from now.
I say it straight.
I’ll always be honest with you about what works, what doesn’t, and what you actually need. I’m not here to pad a package or upsell you into things that don’t serve you. And if something feels off, I’ll say so. Because comfort reads on camera, and so does trust. My job is to make both feel easy.
I protect the peace.
Empathy is how I keep the experience calm. I pay attention to how people feel, not just how they look. If stress shows up, I slow things down. And if someone needs space, they get it. I don't crash into rooms, I ease into them. And I advocate when needed. That emotional safety helps everyone breathe, and the photos are always better because of it.
I leave room for magic.
I stay open to whatever the day gives me. I’m interested in you, your people, and the parts of the day that aren’t on the timeline. Rather than assuming, I ask questions, follow the energy in the room, and stay flexible as the day unfolds. That openness leads to images that feel natural, connected, and full of life
